Carve a pumpkin

Halloween is around the corner and I have bought home a few pumpkins of various sizes. Truth is though, that I have never carved a pumpkin myself, ever. I don't know how it's done! Well, ok, I guess I have some sort of idea, but I don't know any of the tips and tricks. So I Youtubed it of course, and thought I'd share my best finding here with you.

I took a day off yesterday because I really felt I needed some quiet time to myself. I went to a nearby forest and walked in nature for hours. I had brought some picnic along, so I didn't need to go back for any reason what so ever. Nature is amazinly beautiful right now... The leaves are shifting from green to yellow and even some orange. It will only get prettier and prettier from now on until November when all the leaves will have fallen. I love autumn...
Catches for the winter holidays

When me and my buddies visited St. Anton last winter we decided to go back again this yearbecause it's fair to say it was the best ski center I have ever been to - it had everything and more! We didn't have one boring moment in St Anton. In the daytime we were skiing/snowboarding and as soon as the sun dropped behind the mountains we went back to our room for a shower and change and then we had a beer before dinner - great food everywhere. We partied real hard some nights and some others we just chilled in a bar or in front of tho hotel's nice fireplace. Some mornings we went strolling about in the cute town and admired all the amazing clothes and gear we could have bought if we were rich, but unfortunately everything was a bit out of our budget.
The time for bargains is now
Since it's the middle of the summer now, my buddies and I have gotten together to find bargains of new ski gear and -wear and we've found some amazing deals. The best time to stock up on these kinds of things is now. We have already booked our trip and will be spending two weeks in January in St Anton, this time in new hot wear and smooth gear. Can't wait!
The only one longing for Christmas in June
I'm also already addicted to the site freeride.com where you can check out things like snow report and powder finder and - of course - read up ondifferent ski destinations all over the world. I know, I know, it's still just june but I guess I'm one of few people already longing for Christmas...
Music to start the day

My best tip to start off the day in a really good way is to play music from the moment you wake up. I start a playlist on Spotify or Youtube before I even leave the bed and then I have a soundtrack for my morning routines. I brew my coffee, brusch my teeth, pick out the days outfit and get ready for work,a ll the while I'm listening to peppy music. It's good to have a few favourite playlists to chose from depending on mood. This morning I listened to happy retro tunes and it just gave me the best possible start to this day.
Melodifestivalen odds 2017

Den svenska Melodifestivalen är i full gång och den 11 mars är det dags för den stora finalen i Friends Arena i Solna, Stockholm, till vardags Sveriges nationalarena i Fotboll.
12 bidrag kommer då göra upp om segern, där en internationell jury och tv-tittarna bestämmer vilket bidrag som skall representera Sverige i Eurovision Song Contest 2017 i Kiev, Ukraina.
Blir det förhandsfavoriten Loreen som tar sin andra seger i tävlingen, eller blir det kanske outsidern Nano, är helt okänd för större delen av svenskarna? Ja frågorna inför Melodifestivalens final är många och spelbolagen kommer förse oss med massvis med odds. Hos dem kan du spela på vem som vinner tävlingen, men även på vilken artist som placerar sig bäst i ett så kallat head to head spel. Välj en av två artister och lägg ditt spel. Ett annat intressant spel på Melodifestivalen är på vilken eller vilka artister man tror kommer sist.
I deltävling 2 stod tävlingens i särklass äldste artist: Owe Thörnqvist för en jätteskräll när hans låt ”Boogieman Blues” som ger lite vibbar från den klassiska Varm korv boogie som Thörnqvist skrev 1959. Ett spel på Thörnqvist att gå direkt till final gav i början av tävlingsveckan hela 16 gånger pengarna och lagom till start var oddset över 5. Om Thörnqvist skulle gå hela vägen och vinna den svenska Melodifestivalen skulle det ge 10.00 i skrivande stund enligt SveaCasino.se
